Jaeger-LeCoultre, 2011 is an important year in the history of the manufacture. This year marks the 80th anniversary of their epic Reverso watch. Since the beginning of 2011, a number of dedicated special editions have already been released. Now the famous manufacture presents another unique interpretation of Reverso and, at the same time, pays homage to the renowned Mexican painter, muralist, and engraver Guillermo Ceniceros.

The watch was presented at the opening ceremony of the new Jaeger-LeCoultre boutique in Mexico. The watch is offered in two variations: crafted from stainless steel and crafted from pink gold. Both versions bear special engravings on the case-back: man’s duality in stainless steel edition, and man in motion in the rose gold edition.

The watch utilizes contemporary movement Jaeger-LeCoultre Calibre 976. The movement beats at 28,800 vibrations per hour and guarantees at least 48-hour power reserve. Both models are fitted with a simple black dial embellished with Art Deco numerals and dual finishing. Center of the dial features a rectangular gullioche pattern and Clous de Paris engraving, while the lower portion of the dial reveals small seconds indicator at 6 o’clock.

This limited edition series Grande Reverso 976 Guillermo Ceniceros Special Edition will be offered in 50 pieces in stainless steel and 10 pieces in rose gold.
