The house of Frederique Constant pays a tribute to the historical and traditional Lépine watch, with the launch of a Manufacture Pocket watch. For many years, pocket watches have been the masterpieces of precision and true examples of Swiss finest watchmaking traditions. The pocket watch, characterized by a winding stem at 12 o’clock position, unites the craftsmanship with the most progressive of modern watchmaking technologies.
The Frederique Constant Pocket Watch is powered by the new in-house FC-700 caliber, which is completely developed and manufactured in the Frederique Constant Ateliers at Plan-les-Ouates. The same caliber already powers the 18 in-house watch movement already present in Frederique Constant’s permanent range. The movement is wound by hand, offering a power reserve of 42 hours. Its stability is ensured by 1 jewels, while the sapphire case back allows its details to be observed. The watch also has an officer-style-dust-cover case back that is hinged from the inside. The owner can further customize the piece by engraving the cover...
The movement is nestled in either stainless steel or rose gold plated case of 45mm in diameter, while the dial reveals the classic Frederique Style décor, with hand-applied Roman numerals and black time-markers. The detailed silvered backdrop of the watch is finished with delicate guilloche patterns.
Frederique Constant Manufacture Pocket Watch is delivered in a very elegant custom made wooden gift box. The reference numbers are FC-700MC6PW6, for the stainless steel version, and FC-700MC6PW4, for the gold plated variant. Both watches are delivered with a matching chain.
