OMEGA is launching a new model, dedicated to ladies who admire and appreciate the wonders of fine watchmaking. Omega’s celebrated De Ville collection now welcomes a beautiful and delicate feminine watch, which is inspired by the enchantment of nature. The Omega De Ville Prestige Butterfly is inspired by beauty, as it appears in nature, and it features a lovely butterfly motif on the dial, which is, in turn, borrowed from Chinese popular culture. In China, a butterfly symbolizes the delicate being with love and longevity.
Omega De Ville Prestige Butterfly models are extremely elegant and timelessly classic, distinguished by their understated style and embellished with sparkling diamonds. The De Ville Prestige Butterfly model is available in three different variants, depending on the type of the dial and its detailing. There is a range of models with mother-of-pearl dial and a diamond-paved butterfly between 7 and 8 o’clock. A lady could also chose one of the models with transferred butterflies with a matt outline against a mother-of-pearl background, or even from quartz-powered watches with a silvery or champagne dials that feature a butterfly pattern made using a mechanical guilloche technique (ramolayage) that builds a circular brushed finish. There is a swarm of diamonds on each of these dial designs, shaped like eight or nine diamond indexes.
Omega De Ville Prestige Butterfly models are also available in a number of different materials. Starting from stainless steel and dual toned combinations of steel and gold, the collection is also rendered in 18-karat white, red, or yellow gold. Depending on the size of the lady’s wrist, and her personal preferences, there are three sizes to choose from: 6.8 mm, 32.7 mm and 27.4 mm. All watches are presented on ether a white satin-brushed leather strap, or on a metal bracelet matching case material (for smaller diameters).
The automatic watches from De Ville Butterfly collection are powered by Omega’s superior Co-Axial caliber 2500, while the small (27.4 mm) models utilize the quartz movement caliber 1376.
