The Speedmaster Moonwatch Chronograph OMEGA Co-Axial calibre 9301

Often mentioned as the world’s favorite chronograph, Omega Speedmaster Professional or "Moonwatch" was the first watch worn on the moon during Apollo 11. This well-known and longest-produced Omega model this year comes in more contemporary interpretation that still preserves the core elements of the original Speedmaster Professional.

The Speedmaster Moonwatch Chronograph OMEGA Co-Axial calibre 9301 is now crafted in 18-carat orange gold and featured in a 44.25 mm case, topped with a bold black ceramic bezel with tachymeter scale. The vivid orange color of the metal stems from its high content of copper – the alloy is composed of 75% gold and no less than 23.98% copper. This unusual color of the case perfectly matches with black enamel dial and reflects once again in golden transferred elements and the Moonwatch-style hands.

The watch is propelled by the column-wheel chronograph movement - OMEGA Co-Axial calibre 9301. This superior movement allows for 12-hour and 60-minute counter hands to be placed on the same sub-dial at 3 o'clock. In the same manner, central chronograph seconds hand and a small seconds hand are positioned on the sub-dial at 9 o'clock, allowing for even more intuitive reading of the chronograph.

The movement is wonderfully finished with Côtes de Genève in Arabesque, which is visible from the case-back. Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch Chronograph Co-Axial calibre 9301 is offered on a black leather strap and issued under the reference number 311.63.44.51.01.001.
