Frédérique Constant Manufacture Tourbillon Grand Feu is a limited edition of 188 pieces, watches set with a hand-enameled dial. Each of the dials is made individually, after many hours of dedicated work, applying finely powdered colored glass onto a metal plate and baking the plates at extremely high temperature, of more than 900 degrees Celsius, to get the smooth and unique surface.
Manufacture Tourbillon Caliber is based on Frédérique Constant’s renowned Heart Beat Manufacture Calibre completely designed and developed in-house. The movement provides 42 h of power reserve and beats at 28’800 BpH.
A Day-Night complication is also build into the FC-980-1 calibre. Its function is visible from the watch face, where rose-gold and blued-steel “sun-moon” indicator reminds the wearer that the local time is entering a new day, or that a day is winding down.
The watch is made in 18 ct rose gold and boasts 42 millimeters in diameter. Water resistant to 30 meters and mounted on alligator leather strap. |
